한국천주교회는 230여 년 역사 중에 절반에 가까운 100여 년이라는 긴 박해의 시간을 겪었습니다. 그 중 잔혹했던 병인대박해의 시간과 기억이 새겨진 절두산순교성지에서 신앙 선조들이 지키고 이어온 교회의 역사를 눈으로 함께 걸으며 우리에게 남겨진 믿음의 유산을 떠올리는 시간이 되었으면 합니다.

The Korean Catholic Church spent nearly half of its 230-year history in century-long persecution. The time and memory of the infamously brutal Byeongin Persecution are engraved on the Jeoldusan Martyrs’ Shrine. We hope that visitors will join in a visual pilgrimage, retracing the steps of our forebears who in faith strove to preserve the history of the Korean Catholic Church, and reflecting on the spiritual heritage they have passed down to us.
